Otto International is seeking for HR Lead to work in conjunction with global HR functions to secure local HR operations, including HR routines and policies, organizational design, compensation & benefits, talent management, talent acquisition and learning & development. How will you make a difference

  • Serve as an effective Business Partner with the business teams and/or organization
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders in driving key HR operations, including talent management & acquisition, compensation and benefits, internal relations
  • Support and advise managers on company HR-related policies, procedures and programs
  • Support managers on the company’s disciplinary and grievance, as well as performance management process, to promote fairness, consistency and employee engagement
  • Coordinate with the managers to identify capability gaps (current and future) and work towards bridging these gaps, for instance, through performance management, staff development and strategic recruitment
  • Proactively drive and manage employee relations within the assigned business teams and/or organisation

Who are we looking for

  • Professional education in Business Management and/or Human Resources Management
  • 6 -7 years’ working experience as an HR generalist/business partner managing large and multiple teams
  • Experience in setting and implementing strategies and/or projects
  • Experience working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment (matrix organisation of advantage)
  • Experience in change management is an advantage
  • Knowledge of global best practices in HR, local laws and regulations, knowledge of labour laws
  • Clear communication skills, including written and verbal skills, and impactful presentation skills to reach to diverse receivers internally and externally
  • Good organisational, analytical, coaching skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Provide support on ad hoc basis as required.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience in hardgoods, especially furniture. Familiarity with the German market is a plus.
  • Tertiary level education, preferably with a University Degree or above, in a related discipline.
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Proficiency in MS Office applications and Office 365.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, and a team player with a sales-driven mindset. Good analytical skills to assess market trends and supplier capabilities.
  • Ability to travel as required for factory visits, buying trips, and other business needs
