# Verena Favre’s T.E.D. experience - Otto International

[Verena Favre](https://ottoint.com/de/wer-wir-sind/index.html), our Global Director Human Resources, Operations & Communication, recently participated in the Top Executive Development Program of the Otto Group Academy. As part of this, Verena developed and presented a talk in [T.E.D.](https://www.ted.com/) format on the topic stretched leadership.

Check out her inspiring and thought-provoking talk: “Listening is Important, Understanding is Crucial”!

It explores how valuable the uniquely human qualities of leaders are in our current and future state of global digitalisation. There is no algorithm for intuition, feelings and empathy. So as leaders, we must listen, but more importantly, never stop trying to truly understand.
