Otto International is seeking out an experienced, passionate, and diligent HR Operations Lead, Europe & Africa to join our Istanbul, Turkey team. In this exciting position, you will drive our standard for excellence in all HR functions and Office Operations. You will be a force for change in our collaborative and engaging work environment.

 

You will play a key role by being a trusted HR and Operations professional who can be a business partner to the business managers and individuals with the aim of supporting the Winning Principles, growth and changing business needs aligned with the Company’s vision.

 

How will you make a difference?

  • Together with the Head of HR assess country and business organisation strengths and gaps, provide HR organisational design guidance, and facilitate appropriate action plans
  • Support the assigned stakeholders in driving the key HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, talent management, compensation and benefits, internal relations, head count planning, employee development and salary review (in alignment with the central HR functions)
  • Support and advise managers on company HR-related policies, procedures, and programs
  • Support managers on the company’s disciplinary and grievance, as well as performance management process, to promote fairness, consistency, and employee satisfaction (Employee Engagement)
  • Work with the Office Operations Team to create the best place to work for people.
  • Proactively manage employee relations within the assigned business teams and/or organisation
  • Manage the data required in the various systems and tools and prepare reports related to HC, Turnover and HR Operations efficiency for the organisation
  • Together with the stakeholders, assess organisational design and implications by analysing HR KPIs and country/business organisation strengths and gaps
  • Secure a strong succession plan for managerial roles (and some specialists) together with Head of HR.
  • Analyse the Performance and Individual Development Plan and work with the results with the purpose to capture strengths and weaknesses, and facilitate appropriate action plans to support the business
  • Together with the local Head of HR secure that qualitative and individual development plans are set for the employees concerned and the potential successors
  • Support the Head of HR to drive assigned HR initiatives or programs
  • Assist ad-hoc HR projects and tasks

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ working experience withing HR Operations/Generalist role.
  • Experience in setting and implementing process or projects
  • A proactive individual who is able to work collaboratively withing an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Knowledge of global best practices in HR, local laws and regulations, knowledge of labour laws
  • Good organizational & analytical skills
  • Strong experience within administrative and operational HR tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
