Otto International is seeking out an experienced, passionate, and diligent QA Technician to join our Istanbul, Turkey team. In this exciting position, you will drive our standard for excellence in all QA functions. You will be a force for change in our collaborative and engaging work environment.
You will be responsible for evaluating samples and giving comments to factory, in order to improve product quality and avoid potential faults in mass production.
How will you make a difference?
- Communicating effectively with customers, suppliers, merchandising, QC and fabric team, with regards to product quality
- Providing technical advice and recommend corrective actions on technical issues
- Inspecting and commenting on samples (proto counter and size set samples) with regards to measurements, workmanship and fit
- Regularly visit factories/suppliers, when necessary
- Conducting final approval in the market on behalf of customer
Who are we looking for?
- At least 5 – 6 years’ experience as a technician in the garment field
- Graduate of a Technical Institute on garment construction or pattern making
- Proficient in MS Office applications and CAD
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- PDM knowledge is a plus.
- Assist knowledge and 3D is preferable.
