Otto International is seeking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Shanghai team. In this exciting role, you will play a key role in evaluating samples, giving complete technical comments to factories, achieving good quality production, improving product quality and avoiding potential faults in mass production.

How will you make a difference?

Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, merchandising, QC and fabric teams, in regard to product quality
Provide technical advice and recommend corrective actions on any quality issue
Create style packages / review style packages from customers
Evaluate and comment on samples in regard to measurements, workmanship and fit (3D or analog)
Review and change paper patterns (3D or analog)
Conduct final approval in the market on behalf of customer
Regularly visit factories/suppliers
Arrange and conduct pp sample meetings in factories with all stakeholders
Participate in any risk assessment meeting/product review
Follow any other task assigned by supervisor

Who are we looking for?

Min 4 years’ experience as a Technician in the garment field
Graduate from a Technical Institute on garment construction or pattern making
Proficient in MS Office applications
Good communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
PDM and 3D knowledge is a plus

In this role, you will ensure that the quality of goods meet the requirements of customer and ensure inspector has sufficient information to conduct inspection. You will monitor vendor / manufacturer’s quality performance and give them advice and instructions, when necessary, on how to improve and maintain quality level, and provide technical support to merchandiser in order to increase potential business as well as to balance delivery risks.

How will you make a difference?

At least 4 – 5 years’ experience as a QA Technician in the Fashion Apparel field like woven and knit (blouse, dress, top, jacket, pants, skirt)

Good analytical and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English

Otto International is seeking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our Dongguan team. In this role, you will ensure that the quality of goods meet the requirements of customer and ensure inspector has sufficient information to conduct inspection. How will you make a difference?

Guided by supervisor, be constantly involved in product development and supplier sourcing for customers, to maintain competitiveness and enhance business
Determine product specifications like testing/certificate program, quality & workmanship requirements
Work with and explain to all suppliers our product specifications
Provide support to the QC team for efficient inspection service
Pre-production control by: 1. conducting sample pre-check, dispatch and issue reports accordingly, 2. Conducting pre-production meeting and pre-inline in the factory, when necessary
Serve as a consultant on technical issues
Monitor and manage vendor’s for continuous quality KPI improvement (rejection ratio & claim ratio); Regularly visit suppliers and factories, when necessary
Assist customer for continuous quality improvement, like return rate
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Who are we looking for?

Minimum 3 years’ quality engineering experience for home appliance product
Preferably from buying office/trading; factory experience is a plus
Diploma or above graduate on Engineering or related subjects
Has good experience of product development
Good technical knowledge on relative product and a good understanding of manufacturing process
Solid knowledge on the International Safety Standard (EN, IEC), and solid experience in quality assurance and quality control
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Exchange, Word and Excel

We are looking for a proactive, solution-driven and service-oriented (Senior) QA Technician to join our team in HK. You will maintain and improve the quality standard of lingerie and swimwear products specifically for one of our largest key account customers. You will also have full autonomy on technical support from sample to production and meet customer standards and requirements.

How will you make a difference?

Ensure the product samples met all requirements by following the standard procedures from measurement, live model fitting and evaluation
Evaluate samples by ensuring the fit, workmanship or any other technical aspects, which the garment quality meet customers and company requirements
Proactively assess quality risks and share alerts on potential issues at the beginning of the product development stage
Make appropriate recommendations in collaboration with peer teams (e.g. suppliers, factories, SEA offices) or take ownership on matters relating to specs, patterns, construction methods and techniques.
Undertake technical training and develop a knowledge-sharing culture in the team

Who are we looking for?

Diploma or above in Clothing, Textile Merchandising, Textile or related discipline
At least 6 years of working experience in garment construction or pattern making, especially in Lingerie and/or Swimwear products
Self-directed, organised, results-oriented
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
Skillful application of Microsoft programmes – O365, SharePoint and PDM
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
